Willie Lindsay Glover commonly and affectionately known as "Sonny" was Born to the union of Willie “Moses” And Annie Sarah Glover both preceded him in death.

Sonny attended schools in Washington Georgia .

Sonny at the age of 18 Married his childhood sweet heart Lillian Glover and moved to Detroit Michigan " Delray" they Shared a 50 year union of Marriage. Sonny enjoyed a career in public service for over 55 years. Lillian preceded him in death.



On May 27, 2001 Sonny married Dovie Rogers. God has blessed their union for 2o years of love and devotion to God. In their home God came first.

Sonny Loved the Lord he served as a deacon at First Baptist Church In Detroit Michigan "Delray. Sonny love opening the doors of the church to anyone who wanted to come in.

Sonny was a member of United State Army where he received an honorable discharge.

Sonny was An avid fisherman and Hunter. Sonny also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Sonny had 3 Brothers Columbus ( Minnie) Glover, Jerry (jacqueline ) Glover, amd Walter Glover all preceded him in death.

The morning of July 4 2021 Sonny made his transition to be with the lord

He leaves to cherish his wife Dovie Rogers Glover, two surviving sisters Mozell Jones, Carolyn Glover. and host of family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
